A RECLAIMED ORIGINAL ART DECO CAST IRON BEDROOM COMBINATION FIRE. RESTORED ANTIQUE CAST IRON FIREPLACE FIRE SURROUND RECLAIMED.

Exquisite, for sale is this beautiful, restored antique cast iron fireplace, from a Manchester period property from the late Edwardian period. Carrying authentic foundry marks, it was cast about C1920. It is a wonderful example of British architectural heritage which would typically have taken pride of place in bedroom.

Nicely proportioned, it is made of solid cast iron in lovely condition. During restoration we retained the original back and replaced the fire stone. The grate and bars, and ash pan cover are original.

The final result looks superb. It has discreet mounting lugs on the top of the body for simple and safe installation with a couple of strong screws. We have finished the item with black grate polish which gives it a gunmetal appearance and highlights the ornamentation of the cast iron. 38 high (bottom to top of mantle).

23 wide at body, (bottom). In order to fit into your chimney breast the hole in your wall needs to be at least 15" wide, 23" high and 7 deep. All restoration has been undertaken by Duncan Reddy Manchester, a Specialist in Architectural salvage for over 35 years. There are a NO REPAIRS on the fireplace. The fire is in good order.

For deliveries, we ensure all of our restored fireplaces are protective wrapped and delivered by our trusted courier, who takes great care with each item. The drivers will carry your fireplace into your home. If you are local to us, your item can be collected in person from our home workshop in Poynton, Cheshire (SK12 postcode).
